Services in Hayes
Hillingdon Council names Hayes as one of its key regeneration areas, with new housing coming forward since the Elizabeth line arrived, and its Local Plan expects most of the borough's housing growth to happen in the Hayes area. So this page leads with move-in, move-out and after builders cleans. Office cleaning for workspace near the town centre and regular cleans for the older streets come after.
End of tenancy cleaning
Move-out cleans for tenants, landlords and letting agents, ready for the inventory check.

What it involvesWhere Hayes is heading
Hillingdon Council's Invest in Hillingdon page calls Hayes one of the borough's key regeneration areas. It says the town has seen a lot of change and investment since the Elizabeth line arrived, with new housing developments coming forward. Hayes & Harlington station is on that line, in fare zone 5 according to TfL, and the council also calls Hayes the closest town centre to Heathrow Airport.
The Local Plan says much the same. Part 2, adopted in January 2020, lists Hayes as one of five district centres in the borough and, with Yiewsley, one of the two largest. It names Uxbridge and Hayes as the most suitable places in Hillingdon for high buildings, treats the Hayes Opportunity Area as suited to higher density development, and expects the Hayes area to take the majority of the borough's housing growth.
New housing means flats: a new block, a conversion, or a home that's just changed hands. That's why this page starts with moving and building work and gets to offices and family houses after.
The old EMI works, the Nestle site and other new homes
The Old Vinyl Factory is the old EMI works south-west of Hayes High Street, between the Grand Union Canal and the Great Western main line. The council's conservation area appraisal traces it from the Gramophone and Typewriter Company's arrival in 1907 to EMI's record factory, which closed in the 1990s. Since the early 2000s the historic buildings have been converted, mainly to housing, and new blocks of flats have gone up between them along Blyth Road and the lanes off it. The Machine Factory, now Enterprise House, is grade II listed.
Over on Nestles Avenue, the Nestle factory closed in 2014. Council committee papers say the whole site is a conservation area with four locally listed buildings, the old factory building among them.
1,386 homes
Former Nestle factory
That's the size of the scheme the council's planning committee considered for the old Nestle site.
Building work leaves fine dust on skirting boards, in window tracks and inside kitchen units. Which clean you need depends on where the flat is in its life:
| Your flat | The clean to look at |
|---|---|
| Just finished, or just had work done | After builders cleaning for the dust |
| You're moving out at the end of a tenancy | An end of tenancy clean before the inventory check |
| A landlord's unit between tenants | Cleaning for landlords |
| Stood empty a while, or you've just moved in | A deep clean to start fresh |
Offices near the town centre and Stockley Park
According to the council's Invest in Hillingdon page, the Old Vinyl Factory has ground-floor commercial space, larger office floors and creative workspace, and it's close to Stockley Park, which the council describes as the UK's oldest business park. The Local Plan names the Hayes Industrial Area as one of the borough's three Preferred Industrial Locations and encourages new hotels in Hayes and Uxbridge.
We work from 6am to 10pm, seven days a week, so we can clean an office before the first shift or once the last person has gone home. The office cleaning page lists what's included. For a quote, send us the floor area and the hours the building is empty.
Hayes Village, Hayes End and the older streets
The Hayes Village conservation area was first designated in 1970. The council's 2015 appraisal calls it probably the oldest part of Hayes, centred on the Church of St Mary and the hamlet at Wood End Green. Barra Hall Park and the water gardens by the Beck Theatre are inside it, and most of its buildings are homes. Around it, the appraisal says, are mostly low-rise houses built after the First World War. Further out, the Local Plan names Harlington and Willow Tree Lane in Yeading as local centres, with shopping parades at Hayes End on Uxbridge Road and on Yeading Lane.
A regular domestic clean for a family house can be weekly or fortnightly, whichever suits you. Let us know about stairs and pets, and about anything you'd rather we didn't touch.

Hayes has the same council as Uxbridge, so what our Uxbridge guides say about the council holds here too.
